Job Title: Team Lead, Information Security and IT Risk Management

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Objective(s)

  • Responsible for managing the IT Risk function through the identification of potential vulnerabilities and gaps in security controls, and recommendation / implementation of appropriate information security requirements, policies, practices, and standards across the organization to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of organizational data.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management: Proactively seek to build mutually beneficial, and trusting relationships with internal stakeholders – especially client functions, and understand their risk landscape, with the aim of delivering operational impact.
  • IT Risk Management Framework: Maintains and enforces the system risk management and information security risk management framework/methodology.
  • Develop IT Risk Metrics: Design relevant risk metrics to enable senior management to make risk based decisions and assist with the development and management of policies, standards, guidelines and training.
  • Coordinate IT Risk Assessments: Manage or coordinate activities supporting enterprise-wide IT technology audits and risk assessments. This includes periodic control testing efforts, as well as working with internal and external auditors.
  • Manage User Access Rights: Conducts user access audits to ensure compliance with role based access and segregation of duties.
  • IT Risk Policies: Monitors compliance with information security policies. Effectively communicates and reports violations, conflicts and concerns to senior management. The Position Holder is also responsible for the development of organization-wide information security compliance policies in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Develop information security risk assessment review as part of the contract renewal process for vendors, and coordinates the risk assessment & information security review for all new vendors.
  • Cyber Security: Performs procedures to ensure the security of information systems assets and to protect them against intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Responsible for developing an Incident Response Management Plan and training Incident Response Team. The Position Holder is also responsible for managing action plans in response to information security risk assessment, tracks status and reports to Senior IT Management.
  • Support Team’s Development: Provide advice, guidance and assistance to less experienced colleagues as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 9 years of work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • Professional certification in IT risk from a recognized professional body (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CGRISC e.t.c).

Job Title: Head, Financial Advisory

Job Objective(s)

  • The Position Holder is responsible for leading deal origination, and delivery of financial advisory services to clientele on various complex assignments relating to mergers & acquisitions, debt restructuring & refinancing, management buy-outs / buy-ins, bond issuance, initial public offers & share re-issuance etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business Strategy: Define and implement the company’s business strategy in line with conditions in its operating environment and helping to drive the implementation of strategic initiatives that sustain / improve the company’s competitive advantage within its operating environment.
  • Relationship Building: Influences key stakeholders and manages ‘high value’ relationships at a strategic level to identify and build relationships with partners and stakeholders to support long term business development.
  • Deal Origination: Lead the origination of new deals / transactions by proactively working to establish the company’s credibility as an investment partner, aggressively pitching prospective clients to generate leads, and managing relationships with intermediaries.

  • Debt Restructuring: Responsible for helping clients improve business cash-flow, and avoid financial distress, by interfacing with financial institutions to negotiate the restructuring and / or refinancing of clients’ debt obligations, so as to allow them continue business operations.
  • Financial Modelling: Oversees the preparation of abstract models representing (possible) real-world financial models to support decision-making by key stakeholders on business valuations, scenario planning, capital budgeting, financial statement analysis, and project finance.
  • Client Advisory: Act as seasoned adviser to clients, providing independent opinion on complex financial transactions and scenarios, such as mergers & acquisitions, debt restructuring & refinancing, management buy-outs / buy-ins, bond issuance, initial public offers & share re-issuance etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of cognate experience spanning corporate banking and / or capital market operations, with at least 5-7 years in leadership role.

Job Title: E-Learning Officer

Job Summary

  • To promote innovation in the use of e-learning and management throughout the curriculum and organisation. To ensure e-learning tools are effectively managed and produce effective results

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Incorporate e-learning strategies and initiatives in conjunction with knowledge management
  • To provide support to all staff in the use of technologies, e-modules and learning materials
  • Reviews internal curriculum to assess their potential for on-line delivery
  • Advise managers on which areas of the curriculum can be redesigned/enhanced using e-learning

  • Macroeconomic Analysis: Undertake analysis, and interpretation into the impact of various key environmental drivers such as market / industry trends, geographic trends, socio-political factors etc. on target markets, industries, and companies, with the aim of better tailoring recommendations and predictions for decision-making of target audiences.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build advantageous relationships across the firm, as well as with key decision-makers in organizations in which ARM either already has an existing relationship, or are in the organization’s client pipeline, in order to support the growth of the firm’s client-base and Assets Under Management (AUM), as well as its long-term business growth. The Position Holder is also required to sit on the executive, investment and mutual funds committees of the organization.
  • Investment Strategy: Active contribution to the development and implementation of strategies to improve the portfolio management function. The Position Holder is also responsible for the implementation of agreed investment strategies and action plans, and ensuring adherence to investment mandates and client profiles.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Leads market research and analysis efforts into uncovering both global and local macroeconomic trends, extensive research into various financial instruments, and in-depth review of mostly publicly traded companies, in order to understand current trends, and forecast future performance, with the aim of applying this knowledge to managing the firm’s
  • Manage Portfolio Performance: Develop portfolio performance benchmarks and targets based on factual market information on an annual basis, or at any other frequency interval requested.
