The role ofthe Client Sales Manager is a critical part of the ongoing commitment to excellence in delivery of solutions to clients.
It serves as liaison between both parties - ensuring excellent customer service and clientsatisfaction.
Theprimary purpose of a clientmanager’s role is to help the business meet sales / revenue goals and ensureclients retention.
Must be able to develop account plan - as a strategic toolto deepen and grow opportunities in his or key sector and major enterpriseaccounts.
Managingrelationships with the clients throughout the life cycle of engagements andacting as the main point of contact between both parties.
Critical Roles :
Establish strong, trust-based relationships with the clients- and serve as the clients Advocacy
Responsible for sales, invoicing and cash collections in assigned accounts
Drive account planning process with clear understanding of budget owners, influence centres and the approval process from the users to procurement
Drive client’s loyalty and retention through excellence in customer service and support
Enhance the business capabilities and service offerings by listening to client needs and deriving insights based on their needs and processes.
Identify and understand customer needs, proactively provides the right solutions that meet the clients’ pain points- working closely with the solutions sales team.
Commercial management- successfully undertakes pricing, contract negotiations (under approval authority) and grow profitability.
Collaborate with other business functions, specifically with Solutions Sales, Project Managers, Engineering and Finance to co-
ordinate client interactions throughout the life cycle of clients’ engagement.
Maintain level of sales certifications and engagement enablement with key vendors (OEMs) .
Flexibility to navigate ambiguity and effectively manage changing priorities
Strong commercial and business acumen
